FAMILIARITY WITH FAMILY LAW TERMS

Clarifying commonly used family law terms to help people

understand child custody, what it involves, its context, its direction

and its purpose available here (please note: I

drafted the following language to help people

obtain a better understanding of terms frequently used in family law and

child custody; not to substitute or be misconstrued as legal advice --

which I'd be happy to give after having the

benefit of hearing about your particular case):

INSPIRATIONAL CASES:

"4:57pm" (single mother previously turned away

came back to court and prevailed across the board)

"From Dejection to Amazement..." (single dad who had been exploited

came to court, and we were Blessed to identify and precisely articulate

what his child had gone through...  He and his child prevailed.

"No court's going to grant that..." And yet

they did: A single mother looking to protect her child threatened by her

ex-husband's new girlfriend came away discouraged after another law firm

practicing for decades and even the court's clerk said she wouldn't get the protection she sought...

But after revealing arguments we were Blessed to put on the record, the protective protocol sought was indeed implemented for the protection of the baby and peace of mind of the mother...
